Video: 'Dirty Dancing' trailer

(Tuesday, May 12, 1987) — Dirty Dancing, an American romantic dance drama film about a young girl vacationing with her parents in the conservative Catskills who falls for the hotel’s maverick dance instructor, premiered today at the Cannes Film Festival.

Directed by Emile Ardolino, the film starred Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, Jerry Orbach and Cynthia Rhodes.
