Video: '1967 05 19 Where Its At'

(Friday, May 19, 1967, evening BST) — Beatles manager Brian Epstein hosted a promotional party tonight at his home on 24 Chapel Street, London, for the forthcoming release of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band.

Around a dozen selected journalists and broadcasters were invited to attend the event. Among them was Kenny Everett, who interviewed John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr for the May 20, 1967 (4:00-5:30 p.m. BST), edition of the BC Light Programme Where It’s At.

Several photographers were also present, including Linda Eastman, who had met her future husband Paul McCartney just four days previously.
