(Tuesday, September 19, 1967) — The Beatles settled in today at West Malling Air Station west of Maidstone, Kent, England, for six days of shooting for the Magical Mystery Tour television special.

Over the next three days (Sept. 19-21, 1967), the rock band filmed several scenes, including the magicians’ laboratory sequence, the tent theatre, Aunt Jessie’s dream and a sequence for George Harrison’s “Blue Jay Way”.
