(Wednesday, October 4, 1967, evening PDT) — The Monkees completed an early version of “Star Collector” (at American Recording Co. in Studio City, California) and finished off “Goin’ Down,” “Daily Nightly” “The Door into Summer” and “Peter Percival Patterson’s Pet Pig Porky” tonight at Western Recorders, Studio One, in Hollywood, all but one (“Goin’ Down” would be issued as the flip-side of “Daydream Believer” single) for their fourth studio album Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd .
