(Saturday, October 14, 1967) — Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower unveiled today the cornerstone of a new National Presbyterian Church that will replace the one he attended while he was in office (click here to watch video).

After the ceremony at the church in northwest Washington, Eisenhower was honored at a luncheon at the Mayflower Hotel marking his 77th birthday.
