(Monday, October 23, 1967) — The Rolling Stones completed recording Their Satanic Majesties Request, the rock band’s sixth British and eighth American studio album, today at Olympic Sound Studios in London, finishing off the hidden coda titled “Cosmic Christmas” (following “Sing This All Together (See What Happens)”) and “2000 Man” for release on Dec. 8, 1967.
