(Sunday, November 19, 1977) — “Girls’ School” by (former Beatle Paul McCartney and) Wings debuted at #83 on today’s Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
It was McCartney’s 20th appearance on the chart since The Beatles broke up in 1970.
“Girl’s School” was released as a double A-side single with “Mull of Kintyre,” which did not chart in the U.S. but was wildly successful in Britain, becoming the first single to sell over two million copies nationwide.
