Video: 'Grave of the Fireflies' trailer

(Saturday, April 16, 1988) — Grave of the Fireflies, a Japanese animated war drama film about a boy and his little sister who struggle to survive World War II in Japan, was released today in Japan.

Directed by Isao Takahata and produced by Toru Hara, the film starred Tsutomu Tatsumi, Ayano Shiraishi, Yoshiko Shinohara and Akemi Yamaguchi.
