Video: 'Vertigo' trailer

(Friday, May 9, 1958) — Vertigo, a film noir psychological thriller film about a detective who falls for the mysterious woman he’s been hired to tail, premiered today at the Stage Door Theater in San Francisco, the movie’s setting.

Directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock, the film starred James Stewart, Kim Novak, Barbara Bel Geddes, Tom Helmore and Henry Jones.
