(Monday, July 1, 1968; during recording sessions for The Beatles, also known as “The White Album”) — John Lennon of The Beatles and his new girlfriend, avant-garde artist Yoko Ono, opened their first joint art exhibition, officially titled You Are Here (To Yoko from John Lennon, With Love) today at the Robert Fraser Gallery in London.
