Video: 'Die Hard' trailer

(Tuesday, July 12, 1988) — Die Hard, an American action film about a detective who inadvertently becomes embroiled in a hostage situation when his wife’s office is taken over by German terrorists, premiered today at Avco Cinema in Los Angeles, California.

Directed by John McTiernan, the film starred Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, Alexander Godunov and Bonnie Bedelia.
