(Thursday, February 15, 1979, 6:00-8:00 p.m. PST) — Billy Joel was the big winner tonight at the 21st Annual Grammy Awards tonight at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, winning both Record and Song of the Year for “Just the Way You Are.”

The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, dominated by the Bee Gees, won the Grammy for Album of the Year.
