Video: 'Paul McCartney & Wings Goodnight Tonight Promo Quad'

(Tuesday, April 3, 1979, 4:00 p.m. BST) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his band Wings videotaped promotional clips today for the group’s new single “Goodnight Tonight” tonight on the stage of the Hammersmith Palais in London.

Five different versions were shot but McCartney choose only three of the versions taped today when the clips are edited and prepared for distribution on Apr. 7, 1979.
