Video: 'Because (Anthology 3 Version)'

(Monday, August 4, 1969, 2:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. British Summer Time; during sessions for Abbey Road) — The Beatles today completed an early version of John Lennon’s “Because,” adding the song’s distinctive vocal harmonies at EMI Studio 2 in London.

The backing track for “Because” had been recorded on Friday, Aug. 1, 1969. It would turn out to be the last time all four Beatles began recording a song together.
