Lennon, who had privately decided to leave The Beatles, hastily assembled a band, dubbed the Plastic Ono Band, for the performance, including Eric Clapton on guitar, Klaus Voormann on bass and session musician Alan White on drums.

Lennon led the group through six songs: “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Money (That’s What I Want),” “Dizzy Miss Lizzy,” “Yer Blues,” “Cold Turkey” and “Give Peace A Chance.”
