(Sunday, January 18, 1970, 11:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. EST) — American rock band The Doors performed the fourth of four shows in two days tonight at the Felt Forum in New York City with approximately 5,000 people in attendance.

The New York concerts were among the band’s several live performances professionally recorded between July 1969 and May 1970 for the group’s first live album Absolutely Live, released July 20, 1970.

John Sebastian and Dallas Taylor join The Doors on-stage for a few blues songs at the end of this show.

This turned out to be the band’s final show in New York City with Jim Morrison as lead vocalist.
