(Saturday, May 23, 1970) — “The Long and Winding Road”/“For You Blue” by The Beatles debuted at #35 on today’s Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

It was the band’s 63rd appearance on the chart since Jan. 18, 1964.

It was also the second and final single from their final studio album, Let It Be, which was released in the U.S. on May 18, 1970, and featured in a documentary film of the same name, which opened in select U.S. theaters on May 13, 1970.
