(Sunday, August 30, 1970, 1:00 a.m. BST) — During a break in lead singer Jim Morrison’s obscenity trial in Miami, The Doors performed tonight at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 at East Afton Farm in England.

It was the group’s final appearance as a foursome outside of the U.S. and also the last full filming of a Doors concert with Jim Morrison as lead singer.

The Doors were forced to return to the U.S. and cancel a scheduled European tour due to the obligations of the trial.
