Overdubs were added in January the following year at A&R Studios in New York City, including some brass during the early part of the song.

More overdubs were recorded at Sound Recorders Studios in Los Angeles in March/April 1971.

The basic tracks for the Ram album, officially credited to Paul and Linda McCartney (McCartney’s wife), were taped through Nov. 20, 1970, with overdubs and mixing completed by May 1971.
