(Thursday, September 16, 1971) — 13 days after officially forming furniture design company Ringo O’ Robin Ltd. with Robin Cruikshank, former Beatle Ringo Starr appeared today on the British children’s television magazine program “Blue Peter” at BBC Television Centre in London to promote the new venture.

Also this month, on an unspecified day, Starr, to promote his furniture venture, filmed an appearance on the German TV show “V.I.P.-Schaukel” at Liberty’s luxury department store in London for broadcast on Nov. 26, 1971.
