(Tuesday, November 23, 1971, following the 7:30 p.m. EST scheduled start time for opening act The Wackers) — More than four months after lead singer Jim Morrison was found dead in a bathtub in Paris, the surviving members of the American rock group The Doors — keyboard player Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore — performed tonight at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The Morrison-less band was augmented by Bobby Ray on rhythm guitar and Jack Conrad on bass. Tony Glover also played harmonica on two songs.
