(Thursday, March 2, 1972, following the 8:00 p.m. EST scheduled start time for opening acts Badfinger and unknown artist) — Nearly eight months after lead singer Jim Morrison was found dead in a bathtub in Paris, the surviving members of the American rock group The Doors — keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore — performed tonight at C.W. Post Auditorium on the campus of C.W. Post College in Greenvale, New York.
