(Saturday, September 16, 1972) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British–American rock band, Wings, today recorded “Lazy Dynamite” at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in London, during sessions for the studio album Red Rose Speedway.

The track would be mixed on Jan. 14 and Jan. 16, 1973, at EMI Studios and then released on Apr. 30, 1973, in the U.S. (May 4, 1973 in the UK) as the second part of a medley with “Hold Me Tight,” “Hands Of Love,” and “Power Cut.”
