(Tuesday, September 26, 1972) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British–American rock band, Wings, today recorded “Country Dreamer” at EMI Studios, Abbey Road in London, during sessions for the studio album Red Rose Speedway.
The track would be mixed on Jan. 10, 1973, at EMI Studios in London and then released on Oct. 26, 1973, in the UK (Nov. 12, 1973, in the U.S) as the B-side to the single “Helen Wheels.”
