Video: 'Step Lightly'

(Tuesday, July 10, 1973, 1:00-5:30 p.m. PDT) — Horns for Ringo Starr’s “Step Lightly” were overdubbed today at Soundlab Studio in Los Angeles for the former Beatle’s first solo rock album Ringo.

Written by Starr, the basic track was recorded March 9, 1973, at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. It would be released Oct. 29, 1973 in the US (Nov. 9, 1973, in the UK).

It was also issued as the B-side of Starr’s single “Oh My My,” released only in the U.S. on Feb. 18, 1974.
