(Sunday, June 14, 1964, 7:00 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time) — The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr arrived in Sydney, Australia, this morning, following recovery from illness and a long flight from London Airport via San Francisco and Honolulu and Fiji.

He was then interviewed for Australian TV (with Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein) before catching a connecting flight to Melbourne, where he was reunited with the other Beatles.
