On the 18th, the car was packed up, and after an unscheduled stop in Knoxville the first night due to car problems, the McCartney family managed to spend a few days in New York before heading back to the UK.

Walking in the Park with Eloise” is a jazz instrumental written by Paul’s father, Jim McCartney, in the early 1920s to the late 1930s. It would be released as a single under the name the Country Hams in the UK on Oct. 18 1974, and in the US on Dec. 2 1974.

The Dixieland jazz style of “Walking in the Park with Eloise” deviates from the pop and rock stylings of much of McCartney’s recordings.
