The Beatles arrived in Las Vegas to a minimal greeting at the airport.

Although they hadn’t been scheduled to arrive until that afternoon, thousands of fans were already waiting outside the Sahara Hotel when the Beatles checked in at 2:30 a.m. PDT.

An Associated Press newsreel clip shows the group arriving at the airport and fighting their way through a crowd of fans at the hotel.
