(Friday, August 28, 1964, evening EDT; during The Beatles’ 1964 North American tour) — The Beatles were driven to a helicopter and airlifted to Forest Hills tonight at around 7:30 p.m. EDT for their highly anticipated concert at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York City.

Backstage, renowned journalist Larry Kane conducted additional interviews with the group.
