Orchestral and instrumental overdubs were added on five tracks, including: “My Love,” “Live And Let Die,” “Band On The Run,” “Bluebird,” and “Jet.” The latter would be re-recorded on Oct. 8/9, 1974, and the released version would be a composite of two takes, one recorded in August 1974 and the other in October 1974.

The project, envisioned as a “rockumentary,” was directed by David Litchfield and featured live performances of McCartney, Wings, and Beatles hits, along with a few covers.

The recording sessions, set to span over four days, were part of a film project capturing the band in a studio setting. The film would include interviews with the band members and live studio performances aimed at creating a potential live album.

Although the TV sales brochure was prepared, both the film and the album remained unreleased at the time.

Over the years, bootleg copies surfaced, and some tracks were included in special editions of other McCartney and Wings albums.

Fans eagerly anticipate the album’s release, scheduled for June 14, 2024, almost fifty years after the initial recording sessions.
