(Friday, August 30, 1974, evening EDT; during sessions for Walls and Bridges) — Sessions for John Lennon’s fifth studio album, Walls and Bridges, continued today at Record Plant East at 321 West 44th Street in New York City as the former Beatle added sound effects of wolves howling to start his recording of “Sacred.”

The effect was lifted from the album The Language and Music of the Wolves.

With this, the tracking, overdubbing and mixing phases of Lennon’s new studio album was completed.
