(Thursday, September 26, 1974, 7:00-11:00 p.m. PDT) — Horn overdubs for Ringo Starr’s “Occapella” were recorded tonight at Sunset Sound in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, for the former Beatle’s second rock solo studio album, Goodnight Vienna.

This maddeningly catchy Allen Toussaint song had been recorded on May 30, 1974, at Sunset Sound at a 7:00 p.m. to midnight session.

Goodnight Vienna would be released Nov. 15, 1974, in the UK (Nov. 18, 1974, in the U.S.).
