(Saturday, September 28, 1974, 6:00-9:00 p.m. PDT) — Overdubs for Ringo Starr’s “All by Myself” were recorded tonight for the former Beatle’s second rock solo studio album, Goodnight Vienna.

Another Vini Poncia-Ringo collaboration, not one of their most memorable, had its backing track recorded on Aug. 8, 1974 at Sunset Sound in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

Horns were overdubbed on Sept. 17, 1974, with addition unspecified overdubs done tonight.

Goodnight Vienna would be released Nov. 15, 1974, in the UK (Nov. 18, 1974, in the U.S.).
