(Tuesday, October 1, 1974, 3:00-6:00 p.m. PDT) — Overdubs for Roger Miller’s “Husbands and Wives” were recorded this afternoon for Ringo Starr’s second rock solo studio album, Goodnight Vienna.

The backing track sessions were spread over two dates (July 29-30, 1974) at Sunset Sound in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

The overdubs took four separate sessions (on Aug. 1/14/20 and today), also at Sunset Sound.

Goodnight Vienna would be released Nov. 15, 1974, in the UK (Nov. 18, 1974, in the U.S.).
