Under the guidance of producer George Martin and engineer Norman Smith, the band ran through six takes of “She’s A Woman,” with the final released version being take six.

The initial session saw The Beatles utilizing just two of the four available tracks. The first track captured rhythm guitar, bass, and drums, while Paul McCartney’s lead vocals were recorded on the second track.

The band would reconvene from 7 to 10 p.m. for a second session, during which they would add overdubs to complete take six.
