The performance, which aired on Friday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the northwest of England, showcased John Lennon donning a harmonica in a neck brace, reminiscent of his appearance on Shindig.

During the recording, Lennon added a touch of humor with some playful dancing.

Though the original videotape of the performance is believed to be lost, silent footage of rehearsals and one complete run-through, filmed from inside the control booth, still exists.
