(Tuesday, October 20, 1964, shows scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.; during The Beatles’ 1964 Autumn UK Tour) — The Beatles made a triumphant return to Dundee’s Caird Hall tonight for their second and final performance at the venue, having previously graced its stage on Oct. 7, 1963.

This marked the eighth stop on their 1964 British tour and the second of three consecutive Scottish nights.

The band delivered two electrifying shows, each a showcase of their dynamic setlist, which included hits like “Twist And Shout,” “Money (That’s What I Want),” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.”

Their performance was valued at £850, reflecting their immense popularity and demand.

The setlist for the evening featured ten of their biggest tracks: “Things We Said Today,” “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You,” “I Should Have Known Better,” “If I Fell,” “I Wanna Be Your Man,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” and “Long Tall Sally.”

Supporting acts for the tour included The Rustiks, Sounds Incorporated, Michael Haslam, The Remo Four, Tommy Quickly, and Mary Wells, with Bob Bain as the compère.
