Developed by Norman Lear as a spin-off from All in the Family, the series starred Isabel Sanford, Sherman Hemsley, Marla Gibbs, Roxie Roker, Franklin Cover, Paul Benedict, Mike Evans, Berlinda Tolbert and Zara Cully.
