(Tuesday, June 22, 1965, 10:00 a.m. EDT)What’s New Pussycat?, a comedy film about a fashion editor who seeks psychiatric help when he can’t stop beautiful women from pursuing him, opened today at the Astor located at 1537 Broadway, at the corner with 45th Street, on Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

Directed by Clive Donner and Richard Talmadge (go-kart sequence, the film starred Peter Sellers, Peter O’Toole, Romy Schneider, Capucine, Paula Prentiss, Woody Allen (in his first produced screenplay, and starring Allen in his acting debut), and Ursula Andress.
