(Monday, June 28, 1965, 4:30 p.m. CET) — The Beatles performed the first of four shows (over two consecutive days) today at Teatro Adriano in Rome, Italy, the band’s eleventh concert of their 1965 European Tour.

They had also performed two shows at the Teatro Adriano on the previous day.

Again, neither of the day’s shows was a sell-out, with ticket sales never reaching more than half the total available. This day had been added to the tour schedule after the first Rome dates, and it is likely that over-supply was the main cause.
