(Thursday, August 28, 1975) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British-American rock band Wings recorded an early version of “Beware My Love” today at Olympic Sound Studios in London.

Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham guested on drums in the absence of the band’s regular drummer, Joe English, who was visiting family in the U.S. ahead of the 66-show Wings Over the World tour, set to begin Sept. 9, 1975, at the Gaumont Theatre in Southampton, England.
