Video: 'Paul McCartney - Spies Like Us 1985'

(Wednesday, October 9, 1985) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney started filming the promotional video for “Spies Like Us,” the title song to the motion picture of the same name, today at Abbey Road Studios in London, co-starring the stars of the film, Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase (filming wrapped up the next day, Oct. 10, 1985).

The first day’s shoot featured “interior shots of Paul and his ‘band’ consisting of Chevy and Dan, Dan’s wife Donna Dixon and Vanessa Angel, the female stars of the movie.

The outdoors shots were filmed on the 10th, along with “more interiors.”
