(Wednesday, November 3, 1955, 8:30 p.m. EST)Guys and Dolls, a musical film about a big-city gambler who bets that he can seduce a Salvation Army girl, premiered tonight at the Capitol at 1645 Broadway, just north of Times Square in New York City, across from the Winter Garden Theatre.

Directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz, the film starred Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra and Vivian Blaine.
