(Sunday, December 5, 1965, 5:40 p.m./8:00 p.m. GMT) — The Beatles’ performed two live concerts in Liverpool tonight at the city’s Empire Theatre as part of a 10-day, nine-venue, eight-city tour of the UK.

Although not known at the time, it turned out to be the band’s final shows in their hometown.

The Beatles performed: I Feel Fine, She’s A Woman, If I Needed Someone, Act Naturally, Nowhere Man, Baby’s In Black, Help!, We Can Work It Out, Yesterday, Day Tripper and I’m Down.
