(Friday, December 10, 1965, 6:45 p.m./9:00 p.m. GMT) — The Beatles’ performed the first two live concerts at the Hammersmith Odeon in London tonight as part of a 10-day, nine-venue, eight-city tour of the UK.

The group would perform two more shows at London’s Odeon Astoria the following day, Saturday, December 11, 1965, and wind up their tour on Dec. 12, 1965 with two shows at Capitol Cinema in Cardiff, Wales.
Although not known at the time, this would turn out to be the band’s final tour of their homeland.
The Beatles performed 11 songs: ‘I Feel Fine’, ‘She’s A Woman’, ‘If I Needed Someone’, ‘Act Naturally’, ‘Nowhere Man’, ‘Baby’s In Black’, ‘Help!’, ‘We Can Work It Out’, ‘Yesterday’, ‘Day Tripper’ and ‘I’m Down’.
