Wings complete recording of ‘Beware My Love’ and ‘Must Do Something About It’ 50 years ago today (Feb 19 1976)

(Thursday, February 19, 1976) — Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his British-American rock band Wings completed “Beware My Love” and “Must Do Something About It” today as McCartney recorded the harmonium heard on the intros of the two tracks at his London home at 7 Cavendish Avenue.

The core of the tracks were already in the can, with “Beware My Love” completed on Feb. 11, 1976, and “Must Do Something About It” on Feb. 18, 1976.

The tracks were the fifth and sixth of 12 to be completed the group’s fifth studio album Wings at the Speed of Sound on Mar. 25, 1976 in the USA (Apr. 2, 1976 in the UK).
