(Wednesday, July 29, 1964) — As Ringo Starr and other guests enjoyed the festivities in the background, Paul McCartney, in an interview with Swedish radio producer and host Klas Burling today in Stockholm, shared his memories of working on A Hard Day’s Night, The Beatles’ first feature film.

McCartney revealed that “If I Fell” is his personal favorite track from the film. He also mentioned that “It’s for You,” a song written during the film’s production, was given to Cilla Black as it didn’t quite fit the Beatles’ style.

Additionally, Paul discussed the upcoming American tour and the excitement surrounding a ticker-tape parade set for their arrival in San Francisco.
