(Thursday, May 12, 2005)Match Point, a drama film about a former tennis pro who falls for a femme-fatal type who happens to be dating his friend and soon-to-be brother-in-law, premiered today at the Cannes Film Festival.

Directed by Woody Allen, the film starred Brian Cox, Matthew Goode, Scarlett Johansson, Emily Mortimer, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Penelope Wilton.

Video: 'Me at the zoo'

(Saturday, April 23, 2005) — The recently created video-sharing website YouTube uploaded its first clip today. Titled “Me at the Zoo,” the video consisted of 18 seconds of YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim standing in front of an elephant enclosure at the San Diego Zoo, commenting on the animals’ “really, really, really long, uh, trunks.”

Today, YouTube claims more than 1 billion users and says that 300 hours of video are uploaded every minute.
