It was the third of three World Series title for the White Sox (1906-2005).

Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film starred Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall, Andy Serkis and David Bowie.

Sly and the Family Stone also reunited for a performance. Stone had not performed live in 19 years.
