(Friday, September 5, 2004) — Howl’s Moving Castle, a Japanese animated fantasy film about a diligent teenage girl working in her family’s hat shop who finds her life thrown into turmoil when she is literally swept off her feet by a handsome-but-mysterious wizard, premiered today at the Venice Film Festival.
Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, the film starred Chieko Baisho, Takuya Kimura and Akihiro Miwa.
